Product Description

Plate type or corrugated form should be based on the actual needs of plate heat exchanger applications. In the case of large flow rate and small allowable pressure drop, the plate with small resistance should be selected, and the plate with large resistance should be selected on the contrary. According to the fluid pressure and temperature, determine the choice of removable or brazed type. When determining the plate type, it is not suitable to choose the plate with too small area, so as to avoid too many plates, low inter-plate flow rate and low heat transfer coefficient.

 Flow refers to a set of parallel flow channels in the same flow direction of a medium in the heat exchanger, and the flow channel refers to the medium flow channel composed of two adjacent plates in the heat exchanger. In the selection process of plate heat exchanger, the flow combination form should be calculated according to heat transfer and fluid resistance, and determined under the requirements of process conditions. Try to make the convective heat transfer coefficients in the cold and hot water channels equal or close, so as to get the best heat transfer effect. Because when the convection heat transfer coefficients on both sides of the heat transfer surface are equal or close to each other, the heat transfer coefficient gets a larger value.
