Introduction

Shell-and-tube heat exchanger is composed of many tubes which constitute a tube bundle that serves as the heat transfer surface of heat exchanger. It is hereby also known as tubular heat exchanger.

Working Principle
Shell and tube heat exchanger belongs to the inter-wall heat exchanger, the heat exchanger tube constitutes the fluid channel called the tube process, the heat exchanger tube outside the fluid channel called the shell process. Tube and shell process through two different temperatures of the fluid, the higher temperature fluid through the heat exchanger tube wall will transfer heat to the lower temperature fluid, the higher temperature fluid is cooled, the lower temperature fluid is heated, and thus achieve the purpose of the two fluid heat transfer process.
